IT Infrastructure Development Department

You will become part of the ‘IT Infrastructure Development’ unit, which is a part of the ‘Center for IT and Digitalization’ in the Directorate of Correctional Services. The department consists of about 100 dedicated employees, including both internal specialists and external consultants. IT Infrastructure Development focuses on the development of operations, infrastructure, services, and systems, collaborating closely with colleagues across the Center for IT and Digitalization and other parts of the organization.

Technical IT Project Manager

As a Technical IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing Correctional Services’ IT infrastructure projects, from analysis and design to implementation and transition to operations. You play a central role in building a professionally strong IT organization that ensures effective and modern IT support for Correctional Services’ business. You will have a central role in an important societal organization and the opportunity to work on exciting projects within IT infrastructure development. Responsibilities as a Technical IT Project Manager

As a Technical IT Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting digitization projects by analyzing and formulating non-functional requirements, establishing infrastructure, and system environments.
  • Planning and organizing technical tests.
  • Analyzing technical possibilities to meet changed or new business needs.
  • Conducting technical analyses and investigations of existing solutions.
  • Coordinating and implementing major infrastructure tasks and projects from start to finish.
  • Facilitating collaboration among project participants.
  • Monitoring planned activities and reporting to the steering committee.
  • Creating project management documentation in accordance with the state’s IT project model.
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects and tasks with technical project management and advice.
  • Ensuring quality assurance in projects, including compliance with security standards.

Qualifications as a Technical IT Project Manager

  • Documented project experience.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and collaboration with suppliers and partners.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to handle complex issues.
  • Self-directed approach to project management and the ability to build strong project teams.
