Team Leader for Operations and Maintenance

Frederiksberg Municipality is looking for an ambitious team leader who wants to set the professional and managerial direction for our operations team, as our current team leader has been offered an attractive job outside Frederiksberg Municipality.

We are looking for you, who have experience with planning, analysis, management, and execution of operations and maintenance. As a leader, you are open, listening, and show trust in your employees. You will join a strong professional and social unit, where you contribute with your own experience, so we together ensure maintenance and optimal operations of municipal properties in Frederiksberg.

You will, with support from 2 technical coordinators, assist the unit manager in developing and optimizing Property Service and Operations as a cohesive unit along with the other three team leaders, who are responsible for independent teams of craftsmen and caretakers.

As a team leader, you will be the personnel leader and professional sparring partner for 18 technical advisors and operations consultants in the operations team, who together ensure coordination and implementation of energy and maintenance and daily operations and service on the municipal property portfolio. We cover both project, requester, controller, and executor functions with an annual budget for acute and planned works of over 100 million DKK. The team also has a number of development tasks within database-driven property operations, energy efficiencies, and customer service.

We will see it as an advantage if you have a technical background such as a building constructor, engineer, or other experience from the building technical area. You have experience with leading maintenance and operations of a larger property portfolio and are accustomed to accommodating the diversity among users and tenants. It is also an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience from a politically led organization.

• You are experienced in negotiations and can ensure progress on projects through solid negotiations that create solutions and progress on the projects.
• You also have a good handle on quality, time, and financial management of the projects.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility of negotiation of individual supplements based on qualifications and experience. The start date for employment is expected to be May 1, 2024.
