About the Position

PolyPeptide is seeking a proactive and strategic Service Owner of Infrastructure to take end-to-end responsibility for its global infrastructure services. This senior role focuses on network and data center operations and plays a key part in shaping the company’s digital transformation and cloud journey. You will lead infrastructure standards, collaborate with vendors, ensure compliance, and contribute to long-term IT strategies.

 

About the Department

You will join the Global IS/IT organization, a team dedicated to supporting business operations from strategy to execution. The Infrastructure & Cloud Services team works closely with a global IT partner to deliver infrastructure services across the organization. The team includes two Service Owners (Infrastructure and Server Operations), a Delivery Manager, and an Infrastructure Architect. You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders across the global IT landscape to ensure robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation and improvement of current infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps in collaboration with IT partners.
  • Define and uphold standards for hardware and data communication equipment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in network technologies (Cisco, Fortinet) and data center platforms (e.g., VMware, HPE SimpliVity).
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with GxP and other regulations.
  • Contribute to budget planning and financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality and compliance in service delivery.
  • Support transformation initiatives, including sourcing strategies and cloud adoption.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, particularly in network and data communication.
  • Hands-on experience in roles such as technician, service owner, or infrastructure architect.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, and hyper-converged infrastructure.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GxP) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, CDMO, food, or chemicals is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Based in Sweden (Skåne) or Denmark (Zealand/Copenhagen).
