About the Building and Operations Department

You will be part of the Building and Operations department, which is responsible for all construction and operations-related projects at Civica. The department’s tasks range widely and include everything from new construction and major renovation projects to daily maintenance and renovation of existing buildings.

About the Position as Project Manager

Civica is seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience in the rainwater and wastewater sector. As a Project Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for planning and implementing green transition in this area, as well as ensuring reliable and robust handling of rainwater and wastewater in their housing departments.

Responsibilities

As their new Project Manager for the rainwater and wastewater sector, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Technical Responsibilities:

• Reporting and communicating results to management and operations on a quarterly/monthly basis.
• Providing technical support to project managers, inspectors, and property managers regarding operations, renovations, and new construction, as well as assisting with the commissioning and start-up of new/renovated facilities.
• Developing specific proposals for optimizing rainwater and wastewater management.
• Serving as a sparring partner for the operations manager and inspectors regarding PPV plans.
• Ensuring that new legislation in the rainwater and wastewater sector is communicated and facilitating knowledge sharing across departments.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Developing an overall plan for handling rainwater and wastewater with goals, action plans, and a timeline for implementation.
• Creating proposals and plans for the green transition in the rainwater and wastewater sector.
• Ensuring digital support for tasks, such as registering pipelines, wells, soakaways, etc.
• Mapping departments and presenting risk areas for departments at risk of flooding and rising groundwater.
