They are currently working on projects in countries such as Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Canada, Mexico and Ghana. They are headquartered in Birkerød, where about 20 of their 50 employees reside. They have their own production in Kalundborg, and additional departments in Belgium, Ghana, and Canada.
The department
In the role of Process Design Engineer, you will join the Engineered Solutions Team and become part of a dynamic, agile and growing team that drives projects from start to finish. The department currently consists of 2 other people in addition to you, but the goal is to expand to 5 all in all within the next year.
The role of Process Design Engineer
Alumichem is looking for a Process Design Engineer, who wants to become a central part of designing their future solutions. You will drive and lead the process design from start to finish, through to delivery, installation and commissioning.
In addition to this, you will have close contact with customers and suppliers, so you are able to communicate efficiently both orally and in writing, to continuously maintain the good partnerships between their customers, partners and suppliers.
The position requires a good ability to design processes to create the best solutions for their customers. It is a dynamic environment where you should be comfortable with being in a continuous learning process. Ideally, you thrive in an environment where you get to challenge yourself by being involved in many different processes and where you dare to dive into various tasks.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or similar (e.g. chemical engineer, mechanical engineer, environmental engineer)
- +4 years of experience in process engineering.
- A passion for collaborating in a team and cross-disciplinary environment.
- Communication and language skills to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
- A desire to combine office work with some site work at our international customer sites
