About the Department

As the Operations Manager at Friis Shoppingcenter in Aalborg, you will be part of a modern and dynamic team working to create the best possible environment for both customers and tenants. With over 3 million visitors annually, your role is central to ensuring the daily operations and optimization of the center. You will be responsible for a small operations team and work closely with the Center Manager to drive the development of the center. Friis Shoppingcenter is part of Danske Shoppingcentre, giving you the opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate with operations managers from 16 other centers across Denmark.

About the Position

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of Friis Shoppingcenter, ensuring both technical maintenance and handling operational challenges. You will have a varied day-to-day role, managing larger projects such as the implementation of a new CTS system and replacing sprinkler pipes, as well as overseeing the daily management of the operations department. A key aspect of the role is being able to maintain an overview and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the property complies with fire and safety regulations.
  • Manage cleaning and security arrangements.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of technical installations (DaluxFM).
  • Energy optimization and monitoring of energy consumption (Min Energi2).
  • Collaboration with suppliers, including budget responsibility and financial management (Unik Bolig 4).
  • Responsibility for smaller Whitebox and operational projects.
  • Daily leadership and development of employees within the operations department.

We imagine you have:

  • A degree in a relevant technical field such as engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical installations.
  • Proven experience in Facility Management, preferably with knowledge of the tasks mentioned.
  • Experience with fire alarm systems (ABA), gas detection systems (ABV), security systems (AVA), CTS systems, and sprinkler systems, as well as fire safety.
  • A natural authority and a strong service orientation, making you appear resourceful and professional to stakeholders.
  • A “smile in your eyes” and a passion for operations.
