About the Department
You will be a part of the Research & Early Development IT (R&ED IT) Research Lab Solutions team which is an entirely new department within R&ED IT anchored in Global IT. Our department consists of 10 people, and we help the research laboratories with their day-to-day IT challenges on their Laboratory systems. With an ambitious digital agenda, we wish to drive new IT initiatives in a dynamic working environment that supports an increasing number of drug candidates and an agile way of working.
The department has close links to all research sites but anchored at the Måløv site. R&ED IT Research Lab Solutions will have many roles supporting scientists and lab technicians incl. the LabDroid system.

About the LAbDroid system
At this company, we have an almost 100-year history of working with biologics and we have a long track record of designing novel and innovative therapeutics. Our success is building on decades of experience with molecule classes like insulin, GLP-1, or blood coagulation factors.
Our ambition for diversification into new areas, however, has created a need for generating an understanding of therapeutic targets much faster than before. Therefore, we have established the LabDroid system that will be a fully automated platform for the high-through generation and characterization of biologics.
About the position
You will take part in hands-on support, as well as improving, developing and maintaining the support process of the 100+ PCs that are a part of the LabDroid system. The responsibilities include end-user and vendor communication, troubleshooting, identification of needs, patching and day-to-day operational activities of the PC’s. You will be working in close collaboration with your colleagues and different stakeholders in order to maintain and operate the LabDroid platform on a daily basis.
Qualifications
As a person, you are proactive, service-minded, and solution-oriented. You are a solution provider and good at handling all of the different IT support tasks and service requests despite multiple users, deadlines and priorities. You have good communication skills and can support stakeholders across all organizational levels. Furthermore, you are structured and like to follow common IT standards and procedures as well as also contribute to the creation of the same when this is needed. Finally, you are a team player and like to share your knowledge.
Besides that, you
- As a minimum you hold a bachelor degree in IT/Computer Science or another relevant discipline e.g. within another science discipline
- have experience with 1. – 2. Level Desktop support & Computer Management
- have a minimum of 1 year of working experience with IT support of Desktops in the Windows Environment
- are familiar with AD and/or ServiceNow
- experience with Windows firewalls and networks is an advantage
