About the Department

As part of the infrastructure team, you will be one of four key individuals working closely together to develop and maintain the IT infrastructure for MA, MIA, and LAKA. About the Position and Responsibilities

In the role of Network Specialist, you will be a central figure in ensuring and developing the IT infrastructure for the five unemployment insurance funds. Your primary focus will be on Cisco technologies, including Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Switch, and Cisco ISE. You will be responsible for driving important infrastructure projects from start to finish, including planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex network solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Configuration and maintenance of Cisco technologies to ensure a cohesive and secure network infrastructure.
• Ensuring network security through effective configuration of firewalls and other critical network devices.
• Implementation and maintenance of IP telephony systems to support reliable and efficient communication.
• Administration of switch management to ensure network stability and performance.
• Responsibility for firewall management, including protection against threats and unauthorized access.
