About the department

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead the marketing department in Aalborg, which serves as an internal marketing and event agency for Aalborg and Friis Shopping Center. The department consists of 8 highly skilled specialists with expertise in social media (SoMe), SEO, Google Ads, graphics, and events. This team plays a crucial role in strengthening DSC’s brand positioning and increasing sales through innovative marketing campaigns and events.

About the position and responsibilities

As the Marketing Manager at DSC, you will be the key person in managing the company’s marketing strategy and activities. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan to strengthen DSC’s brand and attract and retain customers.
  • Managing the marketing team, establishing effective processes and workflows, and implementing structure for the employees.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities and developing innovative campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market developments and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Budget responsibility for the marketing department and ensuring optimal resource allocation.

Your qualifications

It is expected that you have:

  • A relevant master’s degree in communication and marketing.
  • At least +7 years of experience in marketing and management, including the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • The ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on personnel management.
  • The ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • An initiative-driven approach to work with a strong commercial focus.
