About DCAI
DCAI is a newly established company, with a mission to accelerate AI research and innovation in Denmark. DCAI will operate Gefion, a state-of-the-art supercomputer designed to tackle large-scale AI projects across various fields, from healthcare and life sciences to the green transition and quantum computing. They are based in Copenhagen and collaborate closely with experts from both the public and private sectors, including partnerships with NVIDIA, to advance Denmark’s position in AI and advanced computing.
The job
They are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to join their newly established organization, which operates one of the world’s most advanced supercomputers.
As Marketing & Communication Manager at DCAI, you will play a crucial role in building and executing their marketing and communication strategies from the ground up. You will have the unique opportunity to shape their identity and brand while working closely with external agencies to implement campaigns that drive awareness and engagement with their target audience of research-heavy public and private sector clients.
This role requires a hands-on, versatile marketer who can operate independently, developing innovative strategies to engage their target audience and support their business objectives.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Develop and execute B2B marketing strategy: Create and implement a strategic marketing plan focused on positioning the company at the forefront in supercomputing services. You will track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
- Brand management: Establish and maintain their brand identity as a cutting-edge provider of high-performance computing solutions. The role heavily entails management of external vendors, i.e. agencies.
- Thought leadership content: Develop thought leadership content, such as white papers, case studies, and technical articles to demonstrate expertise and build credibility in the industry. Also includes establishing a presence in AI and data science communities, blog etc.
- Technical content creation and management: Produce and oversee the creation of specialized content that communicates the capabilities and benefits of the supercomputer, including detailed use cases, research outcomes, and technical documentation targeted to a highly knowledgeable audience. You will also be collaborating with SMEs to coordinate the development training documents.
- Digital marketing for niche audiences: Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media. Manage website and social media accounts.
- Market research and competitive analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand the evolving needs of the research community and competitive landscape, providing insights to refine the marketing strategy and support product development.
- Customer communication and engagement: Develop and manage communication strategies that enhance client relationships, including regular updates on supercomputing capabilities, new services, and research collaborations. On some projects you will also be working with strategic partners and their communication teams on communication.
- Community Building: You have a genuine passion for fostering and managing active engagement within communities. Whether it is an online platform, newsletters, or other channels, you excel at driving involvement and creating meaningful connections.
- Event planning and industry participation: Organize and manage participation in industry conferences and webinars, focusing on showcasing the supercomputer’s capabilities and applications. Coordinate events such as launch events, customer events, etc including with VIP guests
Professional and personal qualifications
To be successful in this role, DCAI imagines that you have:
- Minimum 7 years of experience with different types of marketing.
- Experience in technical environments and marketing for high tech products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messages tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to think strategically and develop long-term marketing and communication plans that align with business goals and industry trends.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, measure ROI, and use data to refine strategies.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and campaign development, constantly seeking new and innovative ways to reach and engage the target audience.
On a personal level, it is important that you:
- Have strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Are flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and market conditions
- Are structured and have strong project- and self-management skills
- Are responsible and deliver high-quality work
- Fluent in Danish and English – both verbally and in writing
