Description of the department

Qtechnology are a team of highly passionate people working to change the vision industry. The team, currently contains twelve employees, and operates within a larger corporate structure under Newtec Group, providing the stability and resources of a well-established organization while maintaining the innovative spirit of a startup.

Introduction to the position

As the Manufacturing Manager at QTechnology you will play an integral part in establishing their test systems and define the quality assurance of their internal processes in relation to their production.

Today, all production of their cameras happens in-house. However, Qtechnology are experiencing an increase in the demand of their products. Therefore, they are now aiming to outsource their production to either Poland or Asia, which means that there needs to be created and defined internal end-of-line test systems and quality loops that can be placed at their new contract manufacturer.

In this role you will therefore have the responsibility of defining and developing these test systems, document all processes and systems while ensuring that these operate optimally. You will also play a part in coordinating the outsourcing with the contract manufacturer.

Once the production have been outsourced you will be responsible for the production planning, S&OP, and the overall internal quality assurance.

The position offers you the freedom and autonomy to define and execute your tasks, while also providing opportunities for professional development and growth.You will interact closely with a diverse and international team as well as a number of external stakeholders.

​Requirements

It is imperative that you have:

• Strong experience with quality assurance, possibly from an NPI role.
• Knowledge of working with a contract manufacturer.
• Experience in describing and defining test system
• ​Experience with documentation of internal processes
