About the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI)
DCAI is a newly established organization dedicated to advancing AI research and innovation in Denmark. Supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and in collaboration with NVIDIA, DCAI will operate Gefion, a state-of-the-art NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD designed to support large-scale AI projects across various sectors, including healthcare, life sciences, and environmental sustainability. Located in Copenhagen, DCAI works closely with experts from both the public and private sectors to position Denmark at the forefront of AI and advanced computing.
The job
The Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) is seeking a motivated HPC specialist who thrives in a start-up environment and can navigate the complexities of onboarding new users to a world-class AI supercomputing environment.
As the HPC specialist at DCAI, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the user onboarding experience from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive onboarding strategies, creating user-friendly training materials, and providing continuous support to empower users to fully utilize Gefion’s resources. Your work will directly support transformative research projects, making a tangible impact on critical global challenges.

Requirements:
- Strategic Onboarding Management: Lead and oversee the comprehensive onboarding program for new users of the Gefion supercomputer, ensuring they are equipped with the essential tools, knowledge, and resources to maximize their effectiveness. Develop and implement scalable onboarding strategies to enhance user experience and accelerate time-to-productivity.
- Process Optimization and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, refine, and optimize onboarding workflows and documentation. Establish best practices and continuous improvement processes to drive efficiency and clarity in user support and onboarding activities.
- Training Program Development and Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and documentation that empower users to effectively navigate the HPC systems and tools. Leverage instructional design principles to create engaging and accessible materials tailored to diverse user needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as the principal liaison between users, researchers, academic institutions, and other stakeholders. Manage stakeholder relationships proactively, ensuring their needs are addressed and expectations are aligned. Facilitate regular communication to provide updates, gather feedback, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Technical Leadership and Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in HPC domains, environments, and systems to provide strategic guidance and technical support to users. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure the Gefion supercomputer remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
- Advanced User Support Leadership: Serve as the primary escalation point for Level 3 support, managing and resolving complex technical issues within the HPC ecosystem. Ensure seamless operation of the system, prioritizing user satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Partner closely with NVIDIA and other key partners to ensure the effectiveness of the HPC infrastructure and support systems. Lead collaborative initiatives to enhance system performance, user experience, and support services, driving continuous improvement across the board.
Professional and personal qualifications
