Shape the Future Sales Processes with Advanced AI

Are you a passionate Data Scientist with experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions? Stryhns Group is seeking a committed and experienced Data Scientist to lead the transformation of our sales forecasting processes. In this key role, you will play a central part in transitioning from experience-based forecasts to advanced AI prediction models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Demand Planner, and Supply Chain Manager, to understand the company’s needs and enhance the demand planning process.
• Analyze historical data to identify patterns and trends for predicting future demand.
• Develop and implement an AI prediction model in Microsoft Power BI and through programming.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the model’s accuracy.
• Document and communicate the model’s results to management.
• Integrate the AI prediction model into existing planning systems such as CRM & SAP.
• Ensure a smooth transition from manual to model-based planning.
• Monitor the model’s performance over time and implement ongoing improvements.
• Actively participate in the Demand Planning process to understand all input factors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Development, training, and ongoing validation of a prediction model in Microsoft Power BI.
• Integration of forecasts with existing systems.
• Improvement of forecast validity compared to current processes.
• Communication and presentation of reasons and effects to build trust and understanding for the forecasts.

Your Profile

We envision that you:

• Hold a B.Sc/M.Sc with practical relevant business experience.
• Possess certificates and courses in machine learning, data science, or programming.
• Have practical experience in developing predictive models in Microsoft Power BI or similar tools.
• Have a strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Have programming skills, including experience with Python or R.

As a Data Scientist at Stryhns Group, you will be a central figure in interacting with various departments and key individuals, ensuring that the upcoming AI prediction model effectively supports Stryhns Group’s overall goals and strategies. Your primary interfaces include: Sales Director, Group IT, Demand Planner, sales department, Supply Chain Manager, marketing, factory management, and procurement department.

Practical Details

Your primary workplace will be Vestre Kirkevej 13-19, 4000 Roskilde. You can expect project-related travel activity to the group headquarters in Oslo at times. However, the position generally involves minimal travel activity. You will be employed as a salaried employee and compensated according to your professional qualifications.
