As Pascal is in a successful growth phase, they are currently seeking a skilled and team-oriented Application Engineer/Application Technician for their Application and Compliance department. Application and Compliance are responsible for assisting both customers and the development department in product development, which requires everyone’s effort to successfully deliver high-quality products.

As an Application Engineer/Application Technician, you will become part of Operations and report to the Director of Global Quality.
About the role
As an Application Engineer/Application Technician, you will play a central role in both the company’s and customers’ product development. You will be responsible for advising on complete product solutions that include Pascal’s amplifiers, SMPS I/O modules, and mechanical solutions.
You contribute to developing the technical product solution and will follow projects from concept to final verification. You will solve technical challenges together with other engineers and with support from the commercial team. You already have good experience with application supply, test setups, and development support. Additionally, you thrive on customer interaction, as it allows you to assist customers in achieving the optimal solution for their product.
You understand the importance of accurate product documentation and contribute to ensuring that the necessary adjustments are made continuously. Quality is essential to you even in a busy everyday life, as your efforts contribute to delivering top-class solutions.

You will be based at the office in Herlev. As Pascals customers are large international brands, customer dialogues will often take place remotely. You can expect travel activity associated with customer visits primarily in Europe, with a maximum of 5-10 days per year.
- Contribution to development and testing of applications for audio appliances
- General contribution to product documentation and product compliance
- Ensure quality of design during development, bring-up and post release
- Test of product performance hereunder EMC and product safety
- Development and production of electrical and mechanical prototypes
You have an educational background as a bachelor’s or master’s degree (perhaps newly graduated engineer) in science or engineering (electronics is preferred) or equivalent qualifications as an electronics technician or appliance technician.
The following experience and expertise are essential for the position:
- Basic measuring techniques and associated measuring equipment – preferably within power electronics and audio measurements
- Experience with verification testing, test/measurement setups
- Preferably experience with software platforms for electronic design (EDA) such as Altium or similar
- Preferably experience with SolidWorks
- Previous experience with customer and service provider interaction and support
- Basic EMC measurement and safety for appliance applications
The following experience and expertise are desirable bunot a requirement:
- 2D/3D drawings and mechanical constructions
- Ability to navigate a prototype workshop
- Experience in PCB layout
