The privatisation of the Danish water and sewage utility sector has led to utilities merging. Furthermore, it has necessitated extensive recruitment processes.
Recruiting specialists for the utility space is challenging, as the talent pool is concentrated. Recruitment targets a narrow group of highly specialised experts – for example, when recruiting hydraulics specialists or sewage engineers. The transformation of the utility industry meant that said experts were in extra high demand.
Simultaneously, several factors contributed to a desire to outsource the recruitment process. Utility industry companies have been undergoing their own transformation and needed to adapt while finding new ways to attract expert candidates, which necessitated external assistance.
Process and Results
