As a Senior System Architect, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and leading the architectural design and implementation of robust and scalable systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide the development process, ensure architectural integrity, and provide technical expertise to support project success. You will ensure that information architecture supports efficient and effective data-driven decision-making processes, working closely with stakeholders from the R&ED division.

You are curious and enjoy engaging with various stakeholders across DD&IT and the Research organisation. You want to contribute to technical discussions on data flow, integrations, building interfaces, and solution architecture in the Modalities & Pharmacology area.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Solution or System Architect
• Experience developing applications and integrations using APIs & Events and DevSecOps practices
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise tasks effectively
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), microservices architecture, and containerisation technologies
• A detail-oriented mindset, with a willingness to coach and collaborate with various technical peers
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, while also being empathetic to the needs of the primary stakeholders: researchers, data scientists, and scientific architects

Furthermore, you are team-oriented and have a strong personal drive to achieve goals. You are expected to be service-minded and thrive in a busy environment. Finally, you have professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
