About the Position

The transformation of our vehicle fleet from fossil fuels to electric vehicles is in full swing — in other words, the shift toward greener mobility is well underway. This shift particularly supports the goals of reducing CO2 emissions. At the same time, they are also working on sustainable mobility, which is largely about reducing congestion in cities and creating good mobility in rural areas.

NIRAS is looking ahead to an exciting development and needs more resources and expertise to realize its potential. That’s why they are looking for a project manager who can be a frontrunner working with green mobility and connect it to sustainable mobility.

You will play a central role in the work of setting up charging station infrastructure around Denmark, contributing your expertise in this field. You may already know something about charging stations and have documented technical experience with them. You are also familiar with planning charging stations in terms of where they make sense in location and size, and how they should be supplied with power.

NIRAS is looking for

An experienced project manager who can advise on green mobility, from strategic planning to concrete planning for the development of electric charging station infrastructure in both municipal and private contexts.

You probably have:

• An engineering degree (MSc or BEng) or another relevant technical education.
• Experience with electric charging station solutions, including the financial aspects.
• Experience planning electric charging station infrastructure, including size, quantity, and placement.
• Knowledge of the power supply for charging stations.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of stakeholders.
• The ability to inspire cross-functional teams, tell stories, and present to a broad audience.

It is also an advantage if you have experience creating mobility plans with a focus on sustainability.
