Project Manager, Pipeline Projects
Do you want to join the journey toward a greener Denmark? Evida is looking for a project manager with a focus on piped infrastructure for hydrogen and CO2.
For almost 10 years, Evida has been working on connecting biogas plants to the gas grid across the country. We are building on our extensive experience handling decentralized energy sources as we now investigate piped infrastructure for the new green gases, hydrogen and CO2.
Ready for an adventure?
Evida is ready for its next major infrastructure journey and is therefore looking for a colleague who wants to join this adventure. At Evida, we can offer you a unique opportunity to help shape the critical energy infrastructure of the future, at a company that, in its current form, is only 2.5 years old but has 35 years of experience designing, constructing, and operating gas networks. You will become part of a strong team with great commitment and the ability and will to find solutions – even where it may seem impossible. Evida carries great responsibility for Denmark’s energy supply, as the state’s gas distributor responsible for more than 18,000 kilometers of pipes that distribute gas and deliver heat to 375,000 homes and energy to 35,000 businesses. We are part of the green transition, and our role and significance carry obligations, because when we create change, it is felt throughout society.
Exciting cross-disciplinary projects
We are looking for a new colleague for our design and construction function, a strong team of 20 people with a strong sense of unity who tackle tasks together. You will become part of a department that is passionate about a greener Denmark, and which together connects even more biogas plants to the existing gas grid and investigates the possibility of establishing infrastructure for the new gases of the future, hydrogen and CO2. In this role, you will drive and develop projects involving the piped transport of gases, including hydrogen, CO2, and methane. The work of developing and participating in the projects takes place across several departments at Evida, so you will collaborate broadly with gas experts, business developers, analysts, specialists in measurement and monitoring systems, and many others.
Join the team
We are looking for a project manager with an academic background – preferably as an engineer. You do not need to be a hydrogen expert in any way to become part of the team at Evida, but you must have an interest in energy and the green transition, a flair and understanding for the technical field, and a strong desire to hop on a train we don’t yet know where it will lead. We are looking for someone who either has knowledge of design and project management of route-based projects – preferably pipeline installations – EIA applications and work environment coordination, or someone who is a recent graduate with a strong desire and motivation to develop within these areas. Knowledge of IT systems such as MS Project and MicroStation is an advantage, but not a requirement to succeed in the position, as we provide thorough introduction and training.
At Evida, we believe that good collaboration is the way to the best solutions. It is therefore important that you are curious, a strong team player, and able to see the bigger picture in an area with many interdependencies.
Practical Information
We offer a flexible workplace with the option to work from home. Your workplace will be at our location in Middelfart, but you should expect occasional working days at our head office in Viborg and our location in Stenlille.
We use Capax Recruitment in the recruitment process, so if you would like to know more about the position, you are very welcome to contact Marianne K. Petersen, Chief Recruitment Consultant, on tel. +45 51589868 or mkp@capax.dk.
