Novafos, Denmark’s second-largest water and wastewater utility, was formed in 2017 through a merger of six utility companies. About the IT and SRO department

The IT and SRO (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) department consists of 32 dedicated employees organised into three teams. The department’s focus areas include IT networks and support, SRO, and an electrical team. About the position as IT Security Project Manager

As the IT Security Project Manager at Novafos, you will play a central role in ensuring the company’s IT systems are secure. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, plan, and implement projects within agreed-upon timelines and budgets. You will work closely with IT specialists and technicians and be responsible for communication within the organisation.

Responsibilities as IT Security Project Manager

• Project management: managing and executing internal IT department projects and broader IT projects within the organisation, including effective planning, resource management, and adherence to timelines and budgets
• IT security: dedicated work on evaluating, implementing, and maintaining security measures, risk assessment of existing solutions, and designing new ones to enhance security standards
• Cross-functional collaboration: actively participating in cross-organisational projects, focusing on collaboration with various departments and areas of expertise for coordination and consistency in project deliveries
• Designing secure solutions: contributing to the development of IT solutions that are not only functional but also raise the IT security level by proactively identifying and addressing potential security challenges
• Engagement with IT vendors: communicating with IT vendors to understand available systems and assess their integration possibilities within Novafos’ infrastructure
• Documentation: thorough documentation of projects from start to finish, including the development of project charters, the creation of schedules, and final documentation to maintain transparency and understanding within the organisation
