About the company

The company is a Danish logistics company that transports goods within and outside of Europe by road, air, and sea. Further, the company is home to some of the most skilled and ambitious employees in the business, who design and tailor logistics solutions.

The company was founded in 2011 and is one of the fastest growing logistics companies in Scandinavia. After only 11 years, the company now consists of 80 acquired companies, small and medium-large, each with their own specialties within different logistics areas.

The company is unique in that it is listed on NASDAQ, but a large part of the shares is owned by the employees through a partnership model. This organizational structure ensures engagement, dedication, and well-being amongst all employees, which is one of the reasons for their significant – and continuous – growth.

Last year, they embarked on another new chapter, expanding their IT organization within Cybersecurity, IT Services, and Business Services. As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you will assume lead responsibility for the company’s Modern Workplace initiatives.

The department

The IT Services department currently consists of two teams, an Infrastructure team and a ServiceDesk team, totalling 14 employees. During the last year, Group IT has grown in all areas and employees were added to the IT Services teams. The company also expects the department to continue growing over the next year, and you will play a big role in defining and shaping a future IT Services organization that supports their IT strategy. Overall, they seek to implement a setup based on specialist profiles on a greater scale compared to previously. This, among other things, will also help to significantly impact the goal of establishing a Cloud Center of Excellence.

The IT Services department is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting endpoints, servers, and networks to ensure stable and secure IT operations in a hybrid-cloud environment. They provide technical support and assistance to users within the organization, addressing troubleshooting and problem-solving needs. The department plays a crucial role in integrating and onboarding newly acquired companies into their systems and services. Additionally, they work closely with the Security Operations Center to proactively address cybersecurity risks.

The IT organization in the company is a Global IT organization with employees in 9 countries, supporting all 80 companies. There is an informal and relaxed culture in the company, with great focus on both social and professional events. The organization is home to enthusiastic, energetic, and highly skilled employees who thrive with complex tasks in a dynamic environment.
