Center for IT and Digitalisation
The Correctional Service is strongly committed to building a professional IT organisation to provide efficient and specialised IT support to the entire organisation. In the Center for IT and Digitalisation, around 100 dedicated employees work on tasks related to operations, support, development projects, data protection, information security, and system management.
About the position and responsibilities
As an IT Architect, you become a central part of the unit “IT infrastructure development.”
Your responsibilities include:
- Definition, documentation, and realisation of goal and solution architecture, including the establishment of a coherent architecture for both business-critical and administrative systems
- Assisting in the development and documentation of architecture standards
- Performing concrete architecture assessments, including technology choices and project management
- Designing solution architectures in collaboration with other architects and IT consultants
- Quality assurance of solution design, technology, and architecture, including practical implementation
- Focus on flexible solutions, including both self-developed and standard solutions
- Contribution to the establishment of enterprise architecture in collaboration with existing and future architects
- Supporting the digitalisation of the Correctional Service and the continued development of the Center for IT and Digitalisation proactively and constructively
Qualifications
- Solid experience in IT development, infrastructure, applications, and preferably IT operations
- Ability to make strategic and operational decisions
- Experience with complex digitisation projects
- Knowledge of integration platforms and Microsoft infrastructure
