About the Operations & Projects department

As part of the Operations & Projects department, located at the Service Office in City 2, Taastrup, you will be part of a team of 7 people, including 4 specialists. The department handles 150-200 projects annually, covering the extensive portfolio. Projects vary in size and complexity, from escalators and facades to tenant interiors, with budgets ranging from 1 to 20 million.

Responsibilities as Head of Projects

Project management

• Leadership of the project portfolio, focusing on planning, control, and monitoring of all project activities
• Ensuring project delivery within timeframes and budgets, with solid experience in construction law and regulatory processes (including AB/ABT 18)
• Conducting project management in both main and total enterprise, from design to completion
• Close collaboration with project teams to ensure the achievement of project goals and milestones

Process development

• Identification and design of improvements in project processes
• Implementation of process improvements, development of guidelines, and tools
• Continuous evaluation and adjustment of implemented processes

Leadership and team development

• Management of a team of project managers and process experts, promoting collaboration and learning
• Development of team members’ skills for effective communication and professionalism

As Head of Projects, you will have a central role that spans all phases of the project, including remodelling, new construction, renovation, and energy projects. You will report directly to the CTO and actively contribute to the department’s development. Your role involves leadership, shaping, and management of projects, from conception to delivery, as well as regulatory processes and quality assurance.

Experience as Head of Projects

Danske Shoppingcentre is seeking a Head of Projects with strong experience in project management, capable of navigating complex projects and processes, and who thrives in a dynamic and results-oriented atmosphere. Solid experience in the construction industry, preferably with large commercial projects, and an ability to lead and develop teams are expected.
