FDM looks after the interests of motorists and works to make it a positive experience to be a driver. Its work is based on the values of knowledge, credibility, an active stance, and dynamism. FDM has 300 employees spread across 30 locations throughout the country, with its head office located in Lyngby.
With 260,000 member households, FDM is Denmark’s largest interest and consumer organization. FDM provides legal and technical assistance in matters relating to cars and traffic and represents motorists’ interests in traffic and consumer policy issues. It works to promote road safety, and part of this work takes place at an international level in close collaboration with motoring clubs from other countries. FDM also runs vehicle testing and inspection, driver training facilities, roadside assistance, an insurance company, and has travel agencies throughout Denmark.
About the Department
You will become part of FDM Digital, which plays a very central role within FDM. You will therefore have broad exposure across the organization and take on a leading role in developing FDM’s digital platforms. The team helps ensure that all FDM members can use all digital channels effectively and smoothly.
The team consists of 8 dedicated in-house specialists focusing on frontend development, UX, design, and app development respectively. You will become part of a professional, agile team that delivers digital solutions from A to Z and works across all of FDM. The team also has a strong professional environment, driven by a desire to constantly improve and a passion for delivering the best for members.

About the Position
In this role, you will have the opportunity to accelerate FDM’s member-facing applications. FDM is a Microsoft house and has just upgraded its core system to the latest version, and is now ready to launch even more digitalization projects on its new platform — exciting digitalization opportunities that you can become part of.
As Frontend Developer, you will help build new Vue.js applications as well as maintain the existing ones. You will also play an important role in coding the frontend for other customer-facing digital solutions.
The team works in an agile way and with a DevOps mindset, giving you the opportunity to both take responsibility and follow projects from A to Z. In addition, code review is embedded in the team’s way of working, so you will also take part in reviews and give feedback on others’ code.
