About the department

As Energy Project Manager, you will be part of Campus Service Frederiksberg Plus (Frb+), which is responsible for operations, service, and maintenance at Frederiksberg Campus, as well as the university’s campus areas outside Copenhagen (Taastrup, Nødebo, Helsingør, and Hørsholm). The department’s main purpose is to support the university’s core tasks within research, education, and dissemination.

You will become part of the Technical and Operations Service department, which consists of around 20 employees. Here you will join an established but newly formed project team in Technical Support, which will consist of 2 Technical Project Managers and 1 Energy Project Manager.

Frb+’s buildings vary widely in age, functionality, and maintenance condition. You will share responsibility for developing and maintaining the technical installations to ensure continued operations and that users’ needs can be met.

There is also a focus on cross-disciplinary collaboration, which helps ensure well-executed operations, service, and maintenance of the buildings’ technical installations, ranging from older listed buildings to new, technically demanding construction.

About the position as Energy Project Manager

As Energy Project Manager, you will be responsible for project management of energy project cases (DKK 50,000–300,000), with a focus on ensuring budgets, quality, and timelines are met.

In addition, you will help develop maintenance plans and describe future concrete needs for energy maintenance and renewal.

In close collaboration with operations and the Head of Operations, you will focus on direct project management as well as preparing development plans that help create shared progress for project management of energy projects within the department.

The projects are characterised by the buildings’ laboratory-heavy areas, which are equipped with many types of technical installations. There will therefore be a focus on replacing, optimising, or renewing technical installations such as heat pumps and electrical installations.

It will therefore often be necessary to be present on site at the project, though without being responsible for carrying out the operational work itself.

Requirements

For the role as Energy Project Manager, you are expected to have:

• Experience with project management, including managing timelines, budgets, and quality
• Experience with technical building maintenance
• Experience with digital FM systems
• Knowledge of CTS (building management/control systems)
• Good communication skills in relation to internal and external partners
