About the Position

As Automation Engineer in the electrical department, you will have the opportunity to participate in the design, implementation, and commissioning of new process plants, the rebuilding of existing process plants, and in maintenance and service. Your tasks will vary, and your day-to-day work will rarely be routine.

Areas of responsibility include, among others:

• Supporting operations and maintenance at the factory
• Participating in change and development projects at the factory relating to adaptation, improvement, and optimization
• Helping bring automation up to a modern and up-to-date level
• Documenting your own tasks in accordance with Pharmacosmos standards
• Participating in the further development and future-proofing of the automation system and the automation network

About You

You have a technical background as an engineer, marine engineer, automation technician, or similar technical background. You have at least 5 years of experience.

We imagine that you have experience with:

• Building automation systems
• Implementing automation for process plants
• Setting up, programming, and commissioning plants
• Project management – not a requirement, but an interest in this is very welcome
• PLC programming
• Design/engineering
• Documentation that meets current GMP standards
• Instrumentation
• Troubleshooting and optimization of machinery

You have an interest in control and processes, and you thrive in a versatile and highly specialized knowledge environment, where everyone is passionate about their field and expects you to also contribute your professional and personal skills.

You have a pleasant personality and are skilled at working in teams. You also thrive working independently in a varied workday that can shift a lot between projects and service tasks.
