Asset Operation Manager responsible for electrical installations on the Great Belt Bridge

As an Asset Operation Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to take responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all electrical installations on the Great Belt Bridge. The bridge plays a crucial role in Denmark’s infrastructure, so it is of great importance that the installations function around the clock.
The job as Asset Operation Manager
Your primary area of work covers various tasks related to high and low voltage, emergency power systems, and lighting installations. You will also become the KLS responsible for the facility, ensuring that it meets safety and quality requirements. When the Fehmarn tunnel is ready, your responsibility will be expanded to include this facility as well.
You will also be responsible for contract management, with professional responsibility for the external contracted contractors, typically consisting of 15-20 people who perform the electrical tasks on the facilities. Your expertise in electrical engineering also allows you to understand the installations and confidently make demands if tasks are not completed as agreed upon. When contracts need to be renewed, you will also be involved in providing input.
The work also includes condition inspections and maintenance of technical procedures, instructions, and system documentation. You will have a large interface both within and outside the function, helping manage maintenance and consultant contracts and other agreements, as well as preparing and adhering to budgets.
You will become part of the department for mechanical and electrical installations and will experience a strong and competent team of specialists where professional sparring is central to the team.
Workplace
Your workplace will be at the office near the Great Belt Bridge in Korsør. There will also be days when you need to be in the Copenhagen area to carry out activities at the facilities. For employees residing on Funen or in Jutland, there will be free passage across the bridge when commuting to and from work.
Your profile
- You are most likely an engineer with a specialisation in electrical/high voltage
- You have several years of experience as an operations manager, project manager, or operations technician responsible for various electrical technical installations
- You have experience collaborating with contractors and consultants
- You have experience in contract and budget management
