Operations Consultant for Technical Installations

Frederiksberg Municipality aims to ensure up-to-date operations and maintenance of the municipality’s properties. Within the Department of Urban Development, Culture, and Environment, the Property Service and Operations unit is one of the departments under Building, Construction, and Properties. This unit, consisting of four teams—Planning and Support, Building Service, Property Office, and the Operations Team—is now seeking 2 new Operations Consultants for installations. The Property Service and Operations unit, with a total of 47 employees, handles both traditional tasks and development and efficiency projects within the operations and service of the municipal properties, covering approximately 495,000 m2.
About the Department The Property Service and Operations unit, with a total of 47 employees, comprises 4 teams; Planning and Support with 4 employees, Building Service with 10 employees, Property Office with 12 employees each, and the Operations Team with 20 employees, including 4 team leaders.
Tasks range widely from operations and maintenance projects, energy projects, to tasks that ensure the daily operations and services for the municipality’s users and citizens. The unit also aims to become more digitalized in handling team tasks, with a strong focus on continuing to be more data-driven when creating comprehensive and sustainable solutions for individual projects.

The Position: Operations Consultant for Technical Installations
Frederiksberg Municipality is looking for two new colleagues for their operations team of technical advisors, who ensure the coordination and execution of energy and maintenance projects along with daily operations and service on the municipal property portfolio.
The team consists of professionally competent colleagues with a good drive and who prioritize social interaction highly in the workplace.
The department is a modern FM organization under continuous development, with a high degree of autonomy in how both minor operational tasks and larger projects are handled. Tasks vary greatly, offering challenges across a broad professional spectrum.
In the role of technical operations consultant, you will be responsible for operating the municipality’s many technical systems, including ventilation, potable water, and heating installations. You will also set requirements for technical installations when the project unit builds new or refurbishes existing structures. In this role, you will act as an internal advisor for project managers, safeguarding operational interests and ensuring the selection of appropriate technical solutions in collaboration with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
The role allows for strong ownership, as you are responsible for ensuring your installation projects are completed to agreed quality, time, and budget, in close dialogue with consultants, the client, and users.
You are decisive, approachable, and able to prioritize your tasks. Most importantly, you are motivated by operating and optimizing our technical installations for the benefit of our users.
